Hotel Ambika

You can find Hotel Ambika right in the middle of Chinchwad. We’ve been operating here for years, and the building shows its age a little bit, but we like it that way. It’s a straightforward place to stay or grab a meal. We don't have any of those fancy lobbies with big chandeliers. It's just a front desk and a few hallways. The kitchen stays busy because we get a lot of workers from the nearby area coming in for lunch. We spend a lot of time chopping vegetables and making sure the rooms are tidy for the next person. Chinchwad is always moving, so we see a lot of different people coming through our doors. Some are just passing through and others stay for a week. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. We just rely on people seeing our sign and coming in. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb goes out, and we just fix it and move on. It’s a family-run kind of setup, so we all do a bit of everything. We don't have a script for how we talk to guests. We just say hello and get them what they need. It’s a lot of long hours, especially on the weekends. We just keep things simple and try to do a decent job every day. That's just how we do things here. We are just a local spot.
