Havmor Ice Cream

Our shop is located on the 30 Feet Road in Wanowarie, right in the Industrial Suburb 11 area. Being in an industrial part of town means there is always something going on nearby. You can hear the sounds of trucks and people working throughout the day. We spend a lot of our time checking the freezers to make sure the temperature stays where it should. If the power goes out, we have to move fast. The shop itself is not very big, but we have enough space for the counters and the storage units. It is nice when the kids come in after school because the place suddenly feels much louder and more alive. We keep the floors mopped and the glass clean, though fingerprints always seem to find their way back. 30 Feet Road is a busy stretch and we see all kinds of people walking past our window. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic when things are quiet in the afternoon. We have been here in Wanowarie for a bit and we know the neighbors pretty well now. It is a straightforward job selling ice cream. We don’t have any big speeches to give about it. We just open up, serve the scoops, and make sure the machines are running properly. It gets cold inside the shop because of all the cooling units, which is a relief when the weather is hot outside. There are usually a few chairs for people to wait, though many prefer to walk and eat.
