Gurmukh Dairy Farm

Over here at Bhawani Peth 892, things start very early. Gurmukh Dairy Farm is always active before the sun is even up. We have to get the milk and other dairy things ready for the day. It’s a routine we’ve had for a long time. The street is usually quiet at four in the morning, which is the best time of day honestly. By the time noon rolls around, Bhawani Peth is crowded and noisy. We have our regulars who come by with their own containers. It’s a lot of washing up and keeping things cold. The shop isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of space we have. There are crates stacked up and the floor is usually a bit wet from the cleaning. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is handled right. People know us by our name and the number 892. It’s a bit of an old building, but it stays cool inside which is good for the products. Sometimes we run out of stuff before the afternoon is over because it gets busy. We just tell people to come back the next morning. That’s just how it goes with fresh food. We don’t do any fancy ads or anything. People just know we are here in the Peth. It’s a simple life and it keeps us busy from start to finish. We just take each day as it comes and do the work.
