Gupta Crane Service

Gupta Crane Service is based in the Gupta Building near the old Octroi Naka in Kudalwadi, Chikhali. We have been operating out of this spot for a good while now. Our main thing is helping people move heavy stuff with our cranes. It is a bit of a crowded area with all the industrial shops around, but we have enough space for our equipment. The yard is usually full of our trucks and cranes. We spend a lot of time out on calls, going to different sites where someone needs something lifted. When we are not out, we are usually in the shop doing maintenance on the machines. It is important to keep them running well so they do not break down in the middle of a job. The office is just a small room where we take phone calls and keep our records. It is nothing special, just a few chairs and a desk covered in grease marks and old coffee rings. We have got a couple of regular drivers who know the roads around Chikhali really well. We do not do any big marketing; mostly, people just call us because they have seen our name on the side of the trucks. It is a practical business. We get up early, check the oil in the engines, and wait for the phone to ring. It is how we have always done things here. Sometimes the weather makes the work hard, but we show up anyway.
