You can find us at Plot 8 in Bhosale Nagar, Pune. We are part of the Samata Co-op Housing Society, 411007. Grekland Creamery India Private Limited has been operating from here for a good bit of time. It is a residential neighborhood, so it stays fairly calm most of the time. We handle a lot of dairy work. It is not easy keeping things fresh when the Pune heat gets intense in the summer. We have several refrigeration units set up in our space. They hum loudly all day long. My cousin helps out with the local deliveries using a small van. The other members of the housing society are used to seeing us coming and going by now. We try to be helpful and stay out of people's way. Our setup is not like those massive factories you see in advertisements. It is much more hands-on and basic. We spend a lot of our time cleaning. Hygiene is a big deal when you work with cream and milk products. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to rush to get the backup generator started so nothing spoils. It is a bit of a struggle sometimes, but we actually like the work. There is a lot of satisfaction in seeing the final product ready for a customer. We don’t do any fancy marketing. People just find out about us from their friends.
