Granthi Driving School

We are based in Vadgaon Budruk in Pune, which is where we spend most of our time sitting in cars and watching the road. Teaching people how to drive is a lot of waiting and a lot of patience, especially with the traffic around Maharashtra these days. Our cars aren't brand new, but they work just fine for someone who is just learning how to use a clutch and a brake for the first time. We spend a lot of time on the side streets where it is a bit quieter before we head out into the busier parts of the city. You get to meet all kinds of people in this job, from nervous teenagers to older folks who finally decided it was time to learn. We don't have a fancy office with big signs. Most of our work happens right there in the driver's seat. The address in Vadgaon Budruk is where we keep our paperwork and where people come to sign up. It’s a simple business, really. We just try to be clear with our instructions and make sure everyone stays safe on the road. There are plenty of mistakes made along the way, like stalling at a green light or forgetting a turn signal, but that is just how you learn. We just take it one day at a time, driving the same routes and helping people get their licenses so they can get around on their own.
