Girmes Wheatgrass

We operate out of Gangadham Phase 2, right near the Market Yard. It’s a residential area but we’ve got our space set up here in G-10/702. Girmes Wheatgrass started because we really liked the idea of growing something healthy at home. We grow wheatgrass and sell it to people who want it. It's a lot of watering and watching trays grow. It takes up a fair amount of space in our unit. The green color everywhere is actually quite nice. We aren't a big farm out in the country. We’re doing this right here in the city. It’s a small operation. Most days involve harvesting, packing, and making sure the next batch is seeded. We talk to a lot of neighbors who stop by for their weekly supply. Wheatgrass is a bit niche, but the people who buy it are very dedicated. We try to keep things simple. We don't have fancy packaging or big trucks. Usually, it's just us handling the orders. Sometimes the climate gets tricky and we have to adjust how much we water, but we’ve learned through trial and error over the years. It’s a quiet business. We enjoy the routine of it. If you're looking for us, just head towards the Market Yard and look for Phase 2. We're usually around during the day tending to the grass or cleaning up the trays after a harvest. It keeps us pretty busy.
