Ghansham Hotel

Ghansham Hotel is a small place located between Dhayari and Susgaon. It’s more of a local eatery where people stop for a quick, hot meal. We don't have any fancy decorations or a big sign. The tables are basic and the chairs are simple. We start the kitchen early in the morning, boiling lentils and cooking large batches of rice. The smell of spices fills the whole room by ten o'clock. We serve mostly working people who are passing through or live nearby. The menu changes based on what we find at the market. It’s honest food that fills you up. We spend a lot of time scrubbing the heavy aluminum pots and wiping down the tables. The Susgaon road is quite dusty, so we have to clean the front area multiple times a day. It’s hot work standing near the burners, but we are used to it. We have a couple of fans that blow the air around, though it doesn't help much in the summer. People come in, eat their lunch, and head back to work. We don't have much time for chatting when it's busy. We just focus on getting the plates out fast. At the end of the day, we close up, clean the floors, and get ready to do it all over again tomorrow. It’s a steady, simple life here.
