GBL BUILDCON (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED

Our setup for GBL Buildcon (OPC) Private Limited is in Katraj, specifically at the Lake Town Co-op Housing Society. We are in Building B-8, on the eleventh floor, which is where I handle all the paperwork. Since it is an OPC, it’s mostly just me running the show, though I bring in crews for the actual building work when a project is active. Katraj is a lively part of Pune and being based here is quite handy because I can get to different sites relatively easily. Most of my days are spent on the phone or driving around to check on progress. Building things is a lot more complicated than it looks, there are always some rules or permits that need sorting out. I’ve been around construction for quite a while and decided to start my own thing. It’s not a big fancy operation with a receptionist or anything. If someone calls, they usually just get me on my mobile. The view from the office is nice, but I don’t spend much time sitting there. Construction involves a lot of dust and noise, so I like to keep the office side of things as quiet as possible. We just take on jobs as they come and try to finish them without any major issues. It is honest work and it keeps things moving. Katraj is home for me, so I know where to get the best materials and which suppliers are reliable.
