Gauranga Motor Driving School

We are based in the Sunshree Building, at D1, on NIBM Road. This is the Nibm-Kondhwa Khurd area of Pune. Our office is easy to spot once you get into the complex. It’s a pretty standard setup for a driving school. We have a couple of tables where we help people fill out their forms for the RTO. There are some diagrams on the wall showing how a four-way intersection works, though the real traffic on NIBM Road is usually much messier than the drawings. We spend most of the daylight hours out in the cars. The Pune heat can get a bit much in the middle of the day, so the seats in the cars stay warm. We take people through the local streets, teaching them how to shift gears and use the mirrors properly. It’s a lot of patience, especially when a student stalls the engine in the middle of a busy turn with people honking. The cars are basic models because they are easier for beginners to learn on. We’ve got a routine down. One student finishes their hour, and the next one is usually waiting by the gate. We keep a logbook on the dash to track the kilometers and the time. It’s a straightforward business. We aren't doing anything fancy, just helping the neighbors get their licenses and learn to drive. The office stays open for people to come in and pay their fees or ask about the schedule.
