Gatpande Music Class

Hingane Khurd is the area where we have Gatpande Music Class. It’s a quieter part of the region, which is good when you’re trying to listen to notes. We don't have a big sign outside, just enough so people know where to go. Inside, you’ll find instruments sitting around. Some are old, some are new. There’s always the smell of wood and maybe some tea. We started this because we wanted a place to play and teach. It’s not a fancy academy. The chairs are a bit mismatched and the carpet is worn in the spots where people sit the most. We don't have a website that’s updated every day or a social media person. We just have the classes. People from the neighborhood know us by name. Sometimes a student brings some snacks to share. It’s very informal. We focus on the music, not on the business side of things. Hingane Khurd is a nice place to be. You can hear the birds sometimes when the windows are open. We’ve been doing this for a long time now. Gatpande Music Class is just a small part of the local life here. We don't want to be anything bigger than what we are. It’s just about the sounds and the people who want to learn. We keep things slow and steady. It’s the way we like to do it every single day we open the doors.
