Ganesh Engineering Works

Kharadi has grown up around us over the years, but Ganesh Engineering Works is still at 28/3/1. We have a small shed where we do all kinds of metal work and repairs. It’s the kind of place where you’ll always see sparks flying from a grinder. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to handle a welding torch. The workbench is covered in hammers, pliers, and bits of scrap metal. We take on whatever comes through the gate, whether it’s a broken gate that needs fixing or some small parts for a construction site nearby. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon and it gets pretty warm inside. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things interesting. Our customers are mostly local people and small contractors who live around Kharadi. We don't have a website or anything like that, just a phone that rings when someone needs a job done. Sometimes we have to go out to a site to finish a project, so the shop stays locked for a few hours. It’s a simple business without any corporate layers. We just try to get the dimensions right and make sure the welds are strong enough to hold. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it at this same 28/3/1 address for as long as I can remember.
