Finix Engineering Works

You can find our workshop at Plot No. 246 in Sector-10. We are right in the middle of the MIDC area in Bhosari, which is a place that never really sleeps. If you come by, you’ll hear the sound of metal being cut and the hum of the machines before you even see the sign. Finix Engineering Works is basically a big shed filled with iron and steel. We do a lot of fabrication and repair work for other factories around here. It’s sweaty, loud work, and we usually end the day with black marks on our hands. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s hot outside, which is a blessing. We don’t have a receptionist; if you want to talk to someone, you have to shout over the noise until someone looks up from their machine. Most of us have been working in engineering for a long time, so we know the quirks of the older lathes we use every day. It’s not a high-tech lab, it’s a place where we make things that last. We’ve got a small corner with a table and chairs where we have our tea and talk about the jobs for the next day. Sometimes a client will bring in a sketch on a piece of cardboard and ask us to build it. We like those challenges. It’s just us doing what we know how to do best in this corner of PCNTDA.
