Fariyas Holiday Resort

Fariyas Holiday Resort is tucked away at Post Box No. 8 on Frichley Hill in Lonavala. Being up in Tungarli means we get a bit of a different view than the main town. It’s 410401 for those who need the pin code. We’ve been running this place for years and it’s seen a lot of families come and go. The hill can be a bit steep, but people seem to find us okay. It’s not like those ultra-modern glass buildings you see in the cities now. We have a more traditional feel here. The staff mostly lives nearby, so they know the area well. Sometimes the fog gets really thick up here on Frichley Hill, which makes things interesting. We just try to keep the rooms clean and the pool ready. Running a resort is hard work, there’s always a pipe leaking or a lightbulb that needs changing somewhere. We don't have a big marketing team writing our stuff. We just talk to the guests like normal people. It’s quiet up here compared to the Mumbai-Pune highway. People come here to get away from the noise for a weekend. We’ve got plenty of space, and we just do our best to keep things running. If you’re looking for us, just follow the road up past the old post box. It’s a pretty simple place at heart. It’s been here a long time and we just take it one day at a time.
