Fabwood

Fabwood is located over at A/7 in Prasad Park, right off Sinhagad Road in Vitthalawadi. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty crowded with people and cars. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while, dealing with wood and making sure things are built right. It’s a dusty job, and there’s usually a lot of sawdust on the floor by the end of the day. We don't mind it much, it’s just part of the work. The workshop isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have at Prasad Park. We’ve got our tools and our materials all set up exactly how we like them. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when we have a lot of projects going on at once. People from around Vitthalawadi stop by sometimes just to see what we’re making or to ask for a bit of scrap wood. We try to be helpful when we can. It’s a local business through and through. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most people just come to the back where the work actually happens. The traffic on Sinhagad Road is a bit of a headache, but we’re used to it by now. We just show up, do the cutting and the sanding, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a simple way to spend the day and we like it.
