We’re up on the 8th floor of the Chordia G Haveli building in Pune. It’s located at Sr.No.36/1/1. Being on the 8th floor gives us a decent view of the area, though it’s mostly just other buildings and the busy streets below. Our office is number 802. It’s a standard commercial space. We’ve got some desks set up, a small meeting table that’s usually covered in blueprints, and a few computers. It’s not a super-designed modern space; it’s just where we come to work. We spend our days coordinating construction projects and dealing with vendors. There’s always someone on the phone or typing away at a report. It’s a bit of a wait for the elevators during lunchtime when the whole building is moving, but that’s how it goes in these big blocks. We aren't into the whole corporate culture thing. We’re just a small group of people who know how to build things. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see us working. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep up with the deadlines. It gets a bit hectic when we have multiple sites going at once, but we manage. We’ve been in this part of Pune for a while now and it’s a good spot for us, even if the traffic nearby is a bit of a headache in the evenings. We just get the work done and head home when the sun goes down.
