Our office is in the Sumangal Building, specifically Office No. 2 on the first floor, No. 4/38. We are tucked away in Sahakar Colony, right behind the SBI Bank on Karve Road in Erandawane. It’s a busy neighborhood, especially with the bank traffic and the students walking around. We do housing work, which means a lot of talking to people about where they want to live and looking at maps of the city. The office feels like a regular home that’s been turned into a workspace, which I guess it kind of is. We have some desks pushed together and a lot of folders labeled with different project names. It gets a bit dusty with the construction going on nearby, but we don't mind much. Most of our days are spent checking on sites or filling out forms for the local authorities. It’s not the kind of place with a big reception desk or a fancy lobby. You just walk up the stairs and we’re right there. We’ve been in Erandawane for a while, so we know the local shops and where to get the best snacks for the afternoon break. It’s a simple setup where we focus on the practical side of housing without any of the extra fluff you see in big city offices. It is just a few of us working together.
