We are located in Karve, which is part of the Karad Taluka in the Satara district of Maharashtra. It’s a bit of a distance from the big cities, but we like it that way. Enviro Abrasion Resistant Pvt Ltd is basically us working out of this spot in the countryside. The air is a bit cleaner here, though the roads can get a bit rough during the monsoon season. We do a lot of work with materials that have to stand up to a lot of rubbing and wear. It’s practical stuff. Our building is pretty plain. We don't have any flashy signs or a big gate. Most people around here know us by now anyway. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. There's usually a breeze coming off the fields nearby. We spend our time checking orders and making sure the engineering part is right. It’s a quiet life compared to Mumbai or Pune, but we stay plenty busy. The team is just a bunch of local guys who know their way around tools and metal. We don't spend much on fancy furniture or office supplies. If it works, we keep using it. It’s just how we do things in this part of Satara. We focus on the job at hand and try to get home before it gets too dark. It’s a simple operation, run by people who live right here in the village.
