We are located at S-21 in the Paravati Industrial Estate on Satara Road. If you walk into our place, you will definitely smell the paint. It is a strong scent of chemicals and thinner that stays on your clothes all day. We spend most of our time here mixing different batches and putting them into containers. Because we are in an industrial estate, there is always the sound of trucks and other workshops nearby. We make a variety of paint products. Some of it goes to big factories and some of it is for smaller shops. The floor has seen better days; it’s covered in spots of different colors from years of work. No matter how much we sweep, there is always a bit of dust or a new spill. I spend a lot of my time checking the inventory to see if we have enough pigments and oils. If something runs out, we have to wait for a delivery, which slows everything down. We are not a corporate office with fancy furniture. It is just a practical space where we get our hands dirty. We have a couple of old machines that have been with us for years, and they still work fine for what we need. People around Satara Road know us because we have been here for a long time. It is loud and messy, but it’s what we do.
