Emcure Pharmaceutical Limited

T 184 in the M. I. D. C. Bhosari area is where we spend our days at Emcure Pharmaceutical Limited. If you have ever been to Bhosari, you know it is a massive industrial hub. There is always the sound of machinery or heavy vehicles in the background. Our facility is quite large because we have a lot of different things going on at once. It’s a very functional space. We have the production lines running and people moving back and forth in their uniforms. It’s not the kind of place where you sit around and drink coffee for hours. Everyone has a task and they stick to it. The air smells a bit like chemicals and cleaning supplies, which I guess is normal for a pharmaceutical plant. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building shows its age in some spots, with a few cracks in the floor here and there. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or art for the walls because that wouldn't make sense for what we do. We are here to produce what is needed. The shifts can be long, especially when we are trying to meet a deadline. It gets pretty humid inside during the monsoon season, but we just keep the vents open and keep moving. It’s hard work, but it is what we know how to do. We just focus on the machines and the output.
