Ekbote Furniture

Our place is at S No 58 in Mukundnagar, right near Swargate. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy with all the commuters and traffic. We have been making furniture here for a while now. The workshop always smells like cut wood and polish, which is something you get used to after a few days. We have got various pieces of furniture sitting around, some finished and some just starting to take shape. It is not a polished corporate office at all. It is a place where work actually happens with tools and sawdust on the floor. Most of our day is spent moving heavy wooden tables or trying to fit chairs into the right spots. Swargate is a good spot for us because it is easy to find. We have a small team of guys who know how to handle the wood and the machines. Sometimes we sit around the back and have tea when it is quiet. The building at S No 58 has seen a lot of years. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just find us by walking in or hearing about us from someone else in Mukundnagar. It is a practical business and we like it that way. Every piece of furniture has a bit of a story because we see it go from just a plank of wood to something someone will use in their house. We just keep working away at our benches and saws.
