Our little spot is located at number 143 in the Wadgaon area, right over in Dhairy. It might be a bit of a journey for people coming from the center of the city, but for the families living around here, we are just a regular part of the daily neighborhood scene. We started out quite small years ago and we haven’t really changed the way we do things since then. The building is on the older side, and we have our stuff spread out across the main floor inside. We mostly keep household items, the kind of basic bits and pieces that people always seem to need for their kitchens or for fixing things up around the house. We don’t have any big flashy signs or bright lights, just the address painted on the wall so people can find us. Some days are very quiet, and then other days it feels like everyone in Wadgaon is stopping by at the exact same time. We spend a lot of our hours checking the stock and moving heavy boxes from one corner to the other. The floor is made of cold concrete and it can get a bit chilly during the winter months. Usually, there is just one of us standing at the front and maybe another person helping out in the storage area at the back. We have known many of our customers for years. They usually just walk in, find what they need, and then we have a quick chat about the weather or how the local road construction is moving along. It is definitely not a corporate setup. We just open up, do the work, and then head home.
