Tangent

Tangent is located at Pride Silicon Plaza, which is right next to the Chaturshrinji Temple on S.B. Road. Having the temple so close means the atmosphere around the building changes depending on the day of the week or if there is a festival happening. Sometimes you can hear the bells or the music while we are sitting at our desks. The plaza itself is a typical commercial building with a lot of different offices. Our space is functional and mostly filled with monitors and rolling chairs. We don’t have much on the walls except for a calendar and some old notes taped up near the light switches. S.B. Road is a major route, so the commute can be a bit of a headache during rush hour. We tend to start our day with a quick chat about what needs to be done before everyone settles into their own corner. It is a fairly small room, so we overhear each other’s phone calls all day. There is no fancy lobby here. It is just a door with the name Tangent on it. We spend a lot of time on the phone or answering emails. The carpet is a bit worn out in the middle of the room from where we walk back and forth to the printer. It is a simple, practical office that suits the way we work. We don't try to make it look like something it's not.
