Ace Furniture

You can find Ace Furniture over at Ask Palace, specifically shops 2 and 3. We are located in Lane 9 of Bhagyodaya Nagar. It’s a local neighborhood spot, so it’s usually quiet unless a delivery truck is backing in. We keep a variety of pieces in the shop, though it gets a bit crowded sometimes. We aren't a big showroom with bright spotlights. It’s more of a place where you can walk in and see what we’ve been working on. We spend a lot of time moving chairs and tables around to make space. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, so we are always cleaning things off. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most days. People from the nearby buildings stop by to ask about repairs or new cupboards. We try to keep things simple. If a piece of wood has a knot, we tell you. We don’t try to hide things with thick polish if they aren't meant to be that way. The shop isn't huge, so we have to be smart about what we display. It’s a bit of a squeeze when a big sofa arrives. We’ve been in this lane for a bit, and we know most of the neighbors. It’s a decent place to work. We just keep our heads down and try to get the furniture ready on time. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work.
