You can find us tucked away in Sadashiv Peth at number 562. If you know Pune at all, you know how busy these streets can get. Ekbote Brothers Furniture Works has been around this corner for quite a long time now. The workshop is usually humming with the sound of saws and drills from early morning. We aren't a big factory or a corporate chain. It is more of a family-run feel where everyone just knows what their job is. We don't use a lot of complicated words to describe what we do here. We just make furniture. Sometimes the wood is a bit stubborn and doesn't want to cooperate, but that is just part of the daily grind. Our floors are usually covered in wood shavings, and there is almost always a project half-finished on a bench somewhere. We aren't out to win any awards for how our office looks. We would much rather spend that money on better tools or materials. Customers often drop in just to check on their orders and we usually end up talking about the weather or local news. It is a very local vibe. We have fixed many chairs and built a lot of cupboards over the years. Each piece has its own little quirks. We are just the guys at number 562 who happen to know a lot about wood and how to put it together.
