Our office is in the Sai Vision building in Pimple Saudagar, Pune. We are on plot number one, at SR No 78/60. It is a fairly busy area these days with a lot of new buildings coming up around us. We handle a lot of the market side of things for gold and jewelry. The office isn't anything special to look at. It has some desks, computers, and a lot of files. Most of our day is spent talking on the phone or checking things on the screen. It is more about the business side of the jewelry world here. We have a small crew and we all know each other well. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several things happen at once, but we manage. The building has a lot of other businesses too, so there is always people coming and going in the hallway. We don't have a big display window or anything like that because that’s not really how we operate. We are more focused on the trading and the market movements. It’s a lot of numbers and keeping track of who needs what. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby place, then it’s back to the phones. It’s a practical office for a practical business. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of tasks for the day. That is the way we’ve always done it here in Pimple Saudagar. No fancy bells or whistles.
