Our office is located in the Arihant building at number 39/32, right on Karve Road in Erandwana. We are on the 4th floor, so we have a bit of a view of the area near Garware College. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of students and bank goers, especially with the Bank of Maharashtra right across from us. We deal mostly with diamonds, which means we spend a lot of time under bright lights with loupes pressed to our eyes. It’s precision work and can be a bit draining after a few hours of staring at tiny facets. The building is usually buzzing with people going to different offices. We keep our space organized because when you’re dealing with small diamonds, you can’t afford to lose track of anything. It’s a straightforward setup with desks, safes, and sorting trays. We don't have any flashy signs or a big reception area. Most of the people who come here are here for specific business reasons. We spend our time checking the stones, sorting them by size and quality, and making sure the records are kept straight. It’s a steady job in a lively part of Pune. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of Karve Road over the years. Some days are busier than others, depending on what shipments arrive, but we just take it one task at a time and finish what's in front of us. It's a focused way to spend the work week.
