Chandukaka Saraf & Sons is located at No. 439 in Raviwar Peth. Raviwar Peth is one of those traditional market areas where you can find just about anything if you look hard enough. It’s a very busy part of the city, and the streets are often jammed with vehicles and shoppers. Our shop at 439 is right in the middle of all that chaos. We have been part of this community for a long time, and the name on the sign is something people in the area recognize. The shop itself is straightforward. We have the counters where the family sits, and the jewelry is kept in the back or in the glass cases. It’s not a fancy air-conditioned mall experience. It’s a real shop where you can hear the sounds of the street while you are inside. We start the day by cleaning up and getting things organized before the crowds arrive. There’s a lot of history in these old Peth areas, and we feel like we are a small part of that. We don't have a team of people writing fancy slogans for us. We just handle the business the way it’s always been handled. People come in, they ask for what they need, and we help them out. It’s a busy, noisy, and simple place to work every day.
