If you head down Nibm Road in Kondhwa, you'll eventually find Keshar Ratna Lane No. 8. That is where we have our shop. It is a bit tucked away, but we like it that way. We do a lot of work with different kinds of jewels. The space isn't huge, but we make it work with all our equipment packed in. We spend a lot of time looking at small details. My hands are usually a bit dirty from the polishing compound by the end of the day. We have been in Kondhwa for quite a while now. The lane gets a bit crowded with cars sometimes, but it's okay. We don't spend much on decorating the place because the work is the main thing. People find us mostly by hearing about us from someone else. It's just a regular daily routine of opening up, checking the orders, and getting to work. We have a few benches set up near the window for the best light. Natural light helps when you are trying to see the colors in a stone. Sometimes we lose track of time when a piece is being difficult. We don't have any fancy titles here. Everyone just does what needs doing. It’s a practical setup. Lane No. 8 is a good spot for us. We plan to stay at Keshar Ratna for as long as we can keep making things. It is just home for us now.
