Educational Guidance Bureau

We are located at 436B Date Wada in Narayan Peth. If you know Pune, you know this area is full of history and old buildings. Educational Guidance Bureau is basically just a few of us in a room surrounded by books and pamphlets about schools and colleges. We spend our days talking to students and their parents. They usually come in looking a bit stressed about where to go for their studies. We do not have a magic formula or anything. We just look at what they have and try to point them in a direction that makes sense. Narayan Peth is a crowded place, and our office is tucked away in the Wada. It has got that old-style feel to it, which we like. Sometimes it is quiet, and we just read through new course catalogs. Other times, it is a bit chaotic with three or four families all asking questions at once. We do not use fancy software to pick schools. It is mostly just us using our experience from being in the education field for a long time. We are not trying to sell anyone on a specific college. We just tell them what the options are and let them decide. It is a small operation, and we like it that way. Being in the heart of the city means we see all sorts of people. It is a good way to spend the day, helping kids figure out what is next.
