Our office is right on Karve Road, sitting at 65/1A. Most people around here just use Nal Stop as their landmark because everyone knows that intersection. It’s a very busy part of town, so there is always a constant hum of traffic and people walking by. Being right opposite the stop means we see a lot of the city's daily rush from our windows. The building is an older one, so it has some character, maybe even a few leaks when the monsoon rains get really heavy, but it’s home for us. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with different desks tucked into corners. We don't have a receptionist or anything formal like that. If someone walks in, whoever is closest to the door usually just looks up and says hello. We keep a kettle in the back for making coffee and there’s usually a stack of newspapers sitting on the table that nobody has had time to read yet. It’s a simple setup. We like being in this part of Pune because everything you need is just a short walk away, even if the noise of the horns can be a bit much by four in the afternoon. There are plenty of snack shops nearby if we get hungry, which happens often. We just keep our heads down and get on with the daily business. It’s a solid place to work and it's been our base for a good while now without much changing.
