This is the head office for the area, located at S No 1 in the Hidayatulla Complex. We are right near Poona College, so there are always students walking past and a lot of activity on the street. Being off Shankar Sheth Road in Bhavani Peth means it’s a very central spot, but also very noisy. The building is the Hidayatulla Complex, and our office is usually a bit of a hub for all the local deliveries. We have trucks coming in and out at odd hours, and there's a lot of shouting and moving of heavy carts. Inside, it’s a mix of desks for the paperwork and a large area for sorting all the cargo. It's not a quiet or particularly clean environment; there's always dust from the bags and the sound of vehicles idling outside. The staff here is always on the move, checking manifests or talking to the drivers. We drink a lot of chai to keep going through the long shifts. The office furniture is old and functional, nothing pretty to look at. Since it's a head office, there’s always someone coming in with a problem or a special request. The heat in Bhavani Peth can be tough in the summer months, and the office gets pretty stuffy with all the people and the equipment. We just get on with the day, moving the mail and making sure the logs are updated. It’s a busy, gritty, everyday kind of place for our team.
