We are located over at Sinhagad Road in the River View Residential complex. If you come to building A-7 and head up to flat number 11, that’s where you will find the team from Devgad Agro Foods Pvt. Ltd. It is not some big fancy office or a huge factory, just a regular space where we manage everything. Most of the days are spent talking to suppliers and making sure the food items from Devgad are moving along the right path. It gets quite hectic during certain seasons, especially when the mangoes are ready, and we have to juggle a lot of calls and logistics from this small room. My brother and a couple of local guys handle the heavy lifting and the boxes while I look after the ledgers and the various bills that pile up. Living and working on Sinhagad Road means you get used to the noise and the constant flow of people outside. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us trying to make a living by getting agro products to the people who need them. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more than we would like, but it keeps us moving. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time now and most of our neighbors know what we do. It’s a practical setup that works for a small operation like ours. We keep our heads down and handle the daily orders as they come in.
