Delhiwala Dairy Sweets

At Delhiwala Dairy Sweets, we are located in Gultekdi, near Wilson Garden 3. The first thing people usually notice when they come near our place is the smell of milk boiling or sugar syrup being made. It’s a small shop, but it stays pretty busy from morning until late evening. We have the usual display cases for the sweets, and we try to keep them looking decent, even when it’s a rush. The back area is where all the actual work happens with the large pans and the stoves. It gets very hot back there, especially during the summer months. Gultekdi is a lively area, and being near Wilson Garden means there’s always someone walking by. We have a few regular customers who come every single day for their milk or a small snack. We don’t do much in terms of decorating the place; we just focus on making the food. Sometimes the floor gets a bit sticky, but we wash it down every night. It’s just me and a few others working here. We don’t have a manager in a suit or anything like that. We just wear our aprons and get to work. The address is easy to remember, and we’ve been here long enough that most people know us by sight. We keep a large clock on the wall that is always five minutes fast just to keep us moving. It helps during the festival season when orders pile up.
