Deepak Glass & Aluminum

The shop is located at Uttam Plaza in Kharadi, right near the Bank of Maharashtra branch. If you walk by, you’ll likely hear the sound of cutting or the clinking of metal. That’s just us working on whatever glass or aluminum project is on the table that day. We have been in this spot for a bit, and people in the area know us as the place where there's always a bit of a mess from the materials. Glass is tricky stuff, and aluminum needs a steady hand, so we spend most of our hours focused on the workbenches. It’s not a showroom where everything is shiny; it’s more of a workshop where we actually get our hands dirty. The sun hits the front of the plaza in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside, but we keep the fans going. Clients come in with measurements scribbled on bits of paper, and we try to figure out the best way to cut things without too much waste. Sometimes we run out of a certain frame size and have to wait for the supplier to come down the road. It’s a simple business. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools properly. Most days are just a cycle of measuring, cutting, and loading things onto the back of a small truck for delivery. It is hard work but it keeps us busy and we like the routine.
