If you head over toward Warje, you’ll find us at Tapovan Society. We are in Building 4B, Flat 8. It’s more of a residential-turned-office vibe here, which suits us just fine. Being near Jijai Garden is nice because there is a bit of green around, and it’s a bit calmer than the middle of the city. We work on infrastructure projects, so we spend a lot of time looking at plans and drawings spread out on the big table in the living room area. The Tapodham Road can get a bit backed up during rush hour, so we try to time our site visits around the traffic. It’s a small team here, mostly just a few of us who have known each other for years. We aren’t interested in those big glass offices you see downtown. Here, we can actually open the windows and hear the neighborhood. The flat is packed with files and samples of materials we use for our projects. Sometimes it’s a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. We started this because we wanted to work on local projects in a way that made sense to us. No big meetings or long presentations, just getting the job done. The kitchen is usually where we end up talking about the next day's schedule over some tea. It's simple, practical, and it works for what we do. We just keep our heads down and focus on the road ahead.
