D S Engineers Bodymaster Private Limited is out in the Bhosari Industrial Estate in Pune. If you have ever been to Bhosari, you know it is all about big sheds, heavy machinery, and trucks moving back and forth. Our place is no different. It is a large workshop where we deal with engineering and bodywork for vehicles. There is always the sound of welding or metal being cut in the background. It is a dusty and loud environment, but that is the nature of the work. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil stains or metal scraps lying around. We have a small office section at the front, but most of the action happens in the back. The workers here are skilled and have been doing this for a long time. They don't mind the noise or the heat. We usually start early in the morning when it is a bit cooler and work through the day. Lunch is often a quick affair so we can get back to the projects. We deal with a lot of different clients, mostly from the industrial sector around Pune. It is a no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have fancy brochures or a polished sales pitch. If someone needs something built or fixed, they come to the estate and find us. It is honest engineering work and we take it one day at a time, making sure the jobs get finished before the trucks head out.
