Concepts

Our shop is right there in Awdhootpuram, specifically Shop Number 3. We are located near Badami Haud Chowk, which is a pretty well-known spot if you spend any time in Shukrawar Peth or Raviwar Peth. It’s a bit of a crossover area between the two. We’ve been operating out of units 112 to 115 for some time. The name on the board says Concepts, which I guess sounds a bit broad, but we handle a variety of things here. It's usually quite hectic around the chowk, with all the traffic and people moving about. We keep the shop open through the day, and there's usually one of us sitting behind the counter ready to help. It’s not a huge place, but we pack a lot into it. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. We just talk to folks like normal. If someone walks in looking for something specific, we try to find it in the back or on the shelves. Sometimes we have to move boxes around just to get to the desk. It’s a bit cramped but it works for us. Living and working in this part of town means you get to know everyone. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop on the block. We just want to stay busy and keep the doors open. If you’re coming from the Haud, you can’t really miss the building. It’s just how we do things here, day in and day out.
