Chavan Motor Driving School

Chavan Motor Driving School is based at No. 271, right near Morya Mangal Karyalaya in Nigdi, Pune. Our little office is easy to find because everyone knows the Karyalaya landmark around here. We spend most of our time in the cars rather than sitting at the desk. The office itself is just a small room where we keep the registers and the keys. It has a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it, with a calendar on the wall that we use to mark down who has a lesson and at what time. The cars we use have the dual-control pedals, which is a big relief for the nervous people who come to us. Nigdi can be a busy place to drive, especially during the rush hours when everyone is trying to get somewhere at once. We’ve taught all sorts of people, from young students to folks who are much older. Some people pick it up quickly, while others take a long time to get used to the gears and the mirrors. We don't have any fancy marketing. Usually, people just see our cars driving around Pune or hear about us from a neighbor. The rain can be a bit of a pain during the monsoon, making the roads slippery and messy, but we still go out for the lessons. It is just a simple business where we help people learn a useful skill. We take it one day at a time.
