Central Medical Stores

You can find Central Medical Stores at 217 Budhwar Peth. We are very close to the Datta Mandir, which is how most people find their way to us. Being in Budhwar Peth means it’s always crowded and there is a lot of history in the streets around here. Our shop is a traditional medical store. We have shelves lined with all sorts of medicines and health supplies. It’s not a modern supermarket-style pharmacy. It’s a bit tight inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand for the locals who rely on us. Sometimes the floor is a bit dusty from all the foot traffic, and the fans are always humming to keep the place cool. We’ve been part of this community for many years. We know many of our customers by name, and we’ve seen their families grow up. It’s a very hands-on job. We spend a lot of time reaching for boxes on high shelves or checking expiry dates. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s important work. The noise from the street and the temple bells are just part of our daily background. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just open the doors every morning and serve whoever walks in. It’s straightforward and honest. We just try to keep the shelves filled and the customers taken care of without any fuss.
