Casa Lolo

If you find yourself on Linking Road 3 in Khondhwa Meera Bagh, you might see Casa Lolo. It is just a modest little spot tucked away from the main noise of the traffic. We’ve been here for a bit now, just doing our thing. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful with how we stack things. Every morning starts with opening the shutters and sweeping the front step. The dust from the road is a bit of a constant battle, to be honest. We have a small crew, mostly just people from the local area who needed a job. We handle things as they come. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to sit and wait with the customers until it comes back. It’s a relaxed kind of place. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything fancy like that. People mostly find us because they live nearby or they’re walking down to the shops. We try to keep the shelves tidy, but things get moved around by the end of the day. It’s nice when it rains because the street gets quiet for a while. We usually sit in the back and have some tea when it’s slow. It’s just a normal business in a normal part of town. We’re glad to be here, even on the days when the delivery truck blocks the whole entrance. It’s just part of the daily routine on Linking Road.
