Cargo Plus

Our place is at number 23 inside the Dynamic Logistics area, right on the Pune-Alandi Road. Being near the ICD means there are always trucks coming in and out at all hours. We spend a lot of time checking paperwork and making sure the cargo gets moved to the right spot. It’s a busy corner of Dighi and things get pretty hectic when a shipment arrives late or there’s a mix-up with the containers. We have a small team here. Most of us have been working around warehouses and loading docks for a long time. The floor is usually covered in pallets and bits of tape. We don’t really have a quiet day because something is always being loaded or unloaded. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and we have to be extra careful with the boxes. We stay busy tracking where everything is headed. It’s not the kind of job where you sit at a desk all day. We are mostly on our feet, talking to drivers and moving things around the floor. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the building. We just try to keep the flow going so nothing gets backed up at the docks. It’s a lot of coordination and simple physical work. We've been at this location for a bit now and know the local roads pretty well.
