Our office is over in Aquarius House, tucked away in Shilavihar Colony. If you know Karve Road, you know how the traffic can get around Erandwana, especially during the morning rush. We spend most of our time here dealing with different types of fabrics and textile orders. It’s not a very fancy place, just desks, some sample racks, and a lot of registers. My desk is near the window, and I usually see the same few delivery bikes coming and going. People often get lost finding the colony entrance because it’s a bit hidden from the main road. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time now. Most of the day is just spent on the phone or checking the latest batches of material that come in from the units. Sometimes the tea guy comes late, and that’s the biggest drama we have in a day. We don't really do much in the way of big meetings; it's mostly just us getting the work done and making sure the numbers match up. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we do. We just keep things moving along without much fuss. If you walk down the hall, you’ll see piles of swatches and files. It's just a regular textile office where everyone knows what their job is and we just do it day after day.
