Bilcare Technology

Bilcare Technology is based in a place called Anaswara Meenachel, which is located in the Meenachel P.O. area of Kanyakumari District. Being all the way down in Tamilnadu, near the tip of the country, gives the place a very specific feel. The weather is usually warm and humid, and you can tell you aren't far from the coast. Our setup here is pretty straightforward. We deal with technical matters and spend a lot of our time looking at screens or checking equipment. It isn't a high-rise building or a modern tech park; it’s more of a local building that fits right into the neighborhood. We see a lot of green trees around the office, which is a nice change from the concrete of the bigger cities. The people working here are mostly locals who have lived in the Kanyakumari district their whole lives. We don't use much jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We just focus on the work that needs to be done each day. Sometimes the rain comes down really hard during the monsoon, and we have to make sure the equipment stays dry. It’s a quiet life here in Meenachel, but we stay busy enough with the tasks at hand. We like the pace of things and the fact that we can do our work without too many distractions.
