Biji'S Hill Retreat

Biji'S Hill Retreat is located on New Tugarli Road, just off the Mumbai-Pune Highway. We are tucked away from the main noise of the traffic, up in the hills where the air feels a bit different. It’s a place people come to when they need to get out of the city for a day or two. The property is simple and surrounded by trees. We don't try to compete with those huge luxury resorts; that’s just not who we are. It’s a family-run kind of place where we treat the grounds like our own backyard. Lonavala can get very crowded on the weekends, but our corner on Tugarli Road stays a bit more peaceful. We spend a lot of our time maintaining the gardens and making sure the rooms are ready for whoever shows up. The road leading up to us can be a bit winding, but that’s part of the hill experience. We serve home-style meals that aren't too fancy. It’s the kind of place where you can just sit on a porch and listen to the birds. We have lived here for a long time and decided to open our doors to others. It’s a quiet life, and we like it that way. We don't have a big marketing plan, just word of mouth from people who stayed here before. We just enjoy the mountain air and the quiet nights.
