Shruti Engineers

Our workshop is over at Plot No. 94/5 in Sector 10, PCNTDA. It’s right in the Bhosari area of Pune, which is always noisy with industrial work. We have been here for years, dealing with engineering parts and whatever projects come our way. The place is usually covered in a bit of oil and metal dust, but that’s part of the job. We aren't a big corporation with suits; we are just guys in work clothes doing the actual labor. Shruti Engineers isn't a huge name, but the local shops around here know us. We spend most of our mornings setting up the machines and checking the inventory. The weather in Pune can get dusty, especially in this sector, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the tools. It’s a straightforward operation. Someone brings a design or a part that needs fixing, and we see what we can do. There’s no big sales pitch here. If we can fix it, we tell you. If we can’t, we say that too. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, which stops the machines, but we just take a break and get back to it later. It’s a lot of manual work and paying attention to small details. We don’t have a website or a marketing person. Most of our work comes from people nearby who just drive over to the plot. It's just a regular engineering shop doing its thing.
