Samarth Engineers

You can find us over at Plot No. 455 in Sector No. 2 of Indrayani Nagar. This is the Bhosari area of Pune, which is always busy with trucks and workers. Samarth Engineers is our small operation. We do a lot of machining and assembly here. The shop floor is always a bit crowded with parts waiting to be moved. We have a few benches where we do the manual work and some machines for the heavier stuff. Pune gets its share of rain, and we sometimes have to scramble to move things away from the door when the wind picks up. We’ve been at Plot No. 455 for a while now. We know the neighbors and the local shops where we get our supplies. It’s a community feel even though it’s an industrial zone. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just focus on the job at hand. If someone needs a part turned or a jig made, we get to it. We use a lot of oil and coolant, so the floor can be slippery if you aren't careful. We keep a box of rags handy. Most of the time, it's just the sound of the machines and the radio playing in the background. Samarth Engineers is a practical place. We don't pretend to be more than we are. We just work with metal and try to do a decent job every day. That is about it for us.
