Our shop is Bhagwati Jewellers and we are located at Sr. No. 31 in the Dhankawadi area of Pune. The full name we use for the paperwork is Bhagawati Saubhagya Jewellery Private Limited. We are right there in the middle of the neighborhood, which is a pretty lively part of the city. Being in Maharashtra 411013, we get all kinds of weather, from the heavy rains in monsoon to the dry heat in summer. The shop itself is a practical space. We have the counters where we show things and the back area where we keep our records and do the heavy lifting. It isn't a massive showroom with hundreds of staff. It’s just a local spot where we’ve set up shop. Sometimes the street outside gets really noisy with bikes and cars, but we’re used to it by now. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass and making sure the lights are working right so people can see what we have. It’s a lot of small tasks that keep the place running. We don't have any big corporate slogans or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and close them up at night. It’s a steady way of living and working in Pune, and we’re quite alright with how things are going in our little corner of Dhankawadi.
