You can find us on the 3rd floor of Inorbit Mall, right in the food court area. It is a bit of a hike to get up here, but the Nagar Road view is decent if you look out the windows. Working in a mall is different than a street shop because the lights are always on and you never know if it’s raining outside or not. Even though our address says Nagar Road and Paud Road, we are definitely located right here in the food court. We spend our shifts standing behind the glass counter, waiting for families and kids to come by. It gets really loud on the weekends when the food court is packed and everyone is looking for a seat. We have to keep an eye on the freezers constantly because if the temperature dips even a little, we have a problem. The survey no 35 location near Vadgaon Sheri stays pretty busy, especially in the evenings after people finish their shopping. We wear our uniforms, keep the scoops clean, and try to keep the line moving as fast as we can. It’s a lot of repetitive motion, scooping and wiping down the counters. Most of us who work here live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a spot in the mall where you can grab something cold. By the time the mall closes and the shutters go down, we are usually pretty tired and ready to head home.
