About Balaji Ice Cream Parlour – Food & Beverages in Pune
Being located in Ambegaon Sardar Bazar means there is always noise and people moving around outside. I opened Balaji Ice Cream Parlour because this part of the market needed a place to sit down and cool off. The shop is small, and sometimes the chairs don't match, but it's clean enough. We have the usual flavors like vanilla and mango, but we also try to keep some of the local favorites that people around here ask for. The big freezers hum all day long, and I’m always worried about the power cutting out during the summer heat. That happened once last year, and we lost half the stock, which was a real mess to clean up. Most of our customers are folks doing their shopping in the bazar who just need a five-minute break. We don't do anything fancy with toppings or expensive stuff. You just get a scoop in a cup or a cone. Sometimes the kids from the nearby school come in and make a lot of noise, but it brings life to the place. I handle the counter most days myself. It’s a simple life, selling ice cream to neighbors and travelers passing through. We aren't a big chain, just a local spot where the floor might be a bit scuffed from all the foot traffic. We try to keep the prices fair so everyone can afford a treat. It’s just how we do things here in Ambegaon.
